Muse is by far the biggest Radiohead rip-off in existence.

Muse is beyond amazing, they may have started off sounding a tiny bit like them, but not they are so far out there it's sick. Bellamy is one of the best pianists I have ever seen, where Yorke admits he sucks.

I like how whenever I make a comment, Muse always finds a way into the conversation.

Don't get me wrong... Muse is extremely talented and I like a lot of their songs. Still doesn't change the fact that they are a Radiohead rip-off.

The fact that he's a better pianist than Yorke really doesn't have anything to do with whether or not they're a so-called "rip-off" act.

Either way, I think it's pretty safe to say that Muse sounding quite a bit like Radiohead constitutes a far bigger rip-off than OLP having a song title that somewhat resembles a Radiohead track.

let's be honest, this is a pretty lame ass argument! :)

There are 1000's of songs that share similar or even the same titles out there....who cares what it is called? you can name a song pretty much anything - the fact remains a title will never change the music ;)

Well put, Trusty :)

Hey Trusty... on a scale from 1 to 10, how pumped should I be for the show on Saturday night? ;)

QFT...

There are a million different bands out there that sound similar. That's what influence is. As far as names go, I'm sure a million and a million more songs out there, somewhere, have the same exact titles. It doesn't make them the same song. It's all about creativity - what makes your song stand out? It should be exactly as you wanted to present it to your audience, because as much as they might want you to sound a particular way... It's still your vision, as the artist. That seems like it's going to be a big part of what Burn Burn is all about, anyway. :) So instead of judging songs by their names, we should judge them on content. If it bothers you -- you should know by now how to put a different song on. ;)

.net ... cough.

Hey Trustworthy, please tell me that we're getting chapter VI this week. Chapter V was great and all, but it's been going for weeks now. And those 30 second clips are nice and all, but it's time for more. A new song. Something.

Agreed. The updates are small and drawn out. 2 weeks until the album and if they continue coming so slow, the album will be out and chapter 6 will just finish a week or so after.

Sadly, if Chapter VI and VII are only 1 piece long, then they don't have to update anything until next week.

If I remember correctly Trusty mentioned that 1 or 2 more songs would be released (just to shut us up).

I guess that won't be happening. Anyone else remember him mentioning that? it's on the board somewhere here...

The week before "All You Did Was Save My Life" came out, we got that studio performance of the song (probably from the deluxe DVD). If I had to guess, I'd say we'll probably get one or two of those partial studio clips before the CD releases, but not a whole lot more. I hope we can get a full song or two ("White Flags" or "Escape Artist" would be incredible), but I kind of doubt it at this point.

Who says these updates have to stop when the album comes out? Why not any updates of like vids of live performances or something? Or outtakes.
