I missed CSI!! I was at a place you guys would rip me apart for. So I won't say. But I shall watch it on TIVO when I get home. I'm excited. You know, apartments and dorms really should come with TIVO. It's really just a staple in every day life.

I agree, its quite the lame show, but i cant stop watching it. I hated it until i watched an episode and now its all "tune in next week to see what happens!~!~"

So they made 29 out of 129 people at my work redundant today

Apparently grown men were in tears - and that's among the ones who are staying!

I'm so glad I wasn't at work today, but I know I'm going to cry when I go back in and see some of the empty desks (though some of them I'll be glad to see!) My best manager ever who's been so lovely to me this year is going.

Well they warned us on Monday so it's been a pretty scary week. At least people know now and can get on with doing stuff. But it's still been nasty. Specially cos there were a couple of hours this morning where I knew something was going on but no-one was allowed to call me and tell me until the MD had talked to me
