i cant believe how popular they are all of a sudden. They are playing two dates at Hammerstein ballroom in NYC (which is where OLP play) and holds like 5000 people. It just makes it seem like lots and lots of people will be there to hear "float on". At least tickets arent that overpriced.

hmm, i guess i should check the modest mouse tourdates and see if they are coming back here anytime soon, I keep forgetting to do that but I'll do it now.

Oh how my best friend loves him...maybe we should go. Think he'll be at Kilby again?

lol, unfortunately not. It's at Bricks. (I decided I don't care what the real name of the effin club is, I'm just gonna call it bricks!

) Did you go when he played at Kilby? I was there, it was AWESOME! What was that, two years ago? *thinks* It was an awesome show.
This next show will be my 4th time to see him! The first was at Bricks, second was at Kilby, third was at DV8 and now he's at bricks again!
You should definitely go! Who can resist him??

Actually I have never seen him. My friend I were going to go when he was at Kilby, but we had to work late and knew we'd never get in. She never mentioned it again. He's one of those guys who I would go see, but only if she really wanted to.
Bricks is so much better of a name than In The Venue. I boycott "In The Venue". It's Bricks. BRICKS!

That's like, my entire list of bands I'd shoot myself in the toe to see again/for the first time.

That is interesting. You would think they play Irving or Roseland.
I must of missed that one. When are they playing Hammerstein? It wasn't in the Voice. (which always list the shows coming up)
BTW. I am not going to the show. I only ask cause I didn't see it advertised anywhere.

I love the Franz Ferdinand song. The video reminds me of In Repair a little.
If anyone wants to see what Hammerstein looks like. If you have the OLP DVD. It is the venue they are doing soundcheck in during the on the road piece.
I just got tickets for Hoobastank in Orlando(Sept 1st). They are doing Hard Rock Live. I am excited cause I also get to see my family who lives near there. I haven't seen them in awhile.
This upcoming week starts my concert week. I was suppose to see the B-52's tonight, but I am tired.
Tuesday- Butch Walker/American Hi Fi.
Thursday- Velvet Revolver
Saturday- The Curiouso tour
Monday-Project Revolution
can't wait. Should be fun.

I don't go out excpet for concerts. I am not a movie person. I don't go to the bars. You out grow it after a certain age, not that I ever really did. I was more of a dance club person. People spend money on what brings them enjoyment.
There are people on here who go to more shows then me. I don't go to as many shows as I use to. Too expensive.I use to go to alot more cause I did vounteer work. i was always seeing shows are Roseland, Irving or Hammerstein. The most expensive show out of those was Project Revolution. It was $60.00. I am seeing VR for free, The Cure was $55.00 and Butch is about $20. These are it for the summer.
There really isn't anybody else I want to see who is playing. I am waiting for the Matt Good fall tour to be announced.
you are going to 2 shows.

saw kevin devine...there was some shitty band before him and some shitty band after him so we left after he was done. Didnt even see any of the Rocket Summer whoever they are.
KD was amazing but played some odd songs that I never heard. We request him to play Probably and he did so for the last song which was cool. He seemed kind of confused when I told him I was from NY. He covered "float on" by modest mouse which was odd. Anyway if you havent checked him out look at
