I might take you up on that whenever they come to St. Louis (or LA, come fall). I've always wanted to contribute to the cause.

LA as in Los Angeles? Or Louisiana? If it's Los Angeles, is this a permanent move? Not many CMers out this way!

Los Angeles, and kinda permanent. I'm going to USC next year (and, one assumes, for the following two years--'cause I'm transferring). And I'm planning on living in LA post-college, because that's where the film scene is. So yeah, pretty much permanent.

Well hi there! :)

Hey! :) I forgot how close we are, geographically, actually... Haha I was amazed another OLP fan lived so close, and a HUGE fan at that. Like, on the level I consider myself a fan.

I think I might even have you added on Myspace still, even though I barely use it anymore.

Haha, yeah I saw "Barrington" and was like "WOAH".

I also rarely use MySpace anymore. Oh well!

I wish, 'twould be a lot easier if I drove... I never really warmed up to the idea. So I have to wait for a Philly area show.

Oh booo.

I also don't drive, though. The Riverline to Trenton, then NEC to NYC is a glorious thing!

So I was just listening to the clips again, and felt like commenting, because I'm supposed to be doing actual work.

I really like Signs of Life, especially the chorus (I assume it's the chorus) with: "And there's no signs of life in here at allllll." That's super cool. I'm also adoring the melody and lyrics to "The End Is Where We Begin." I'm dying to hear that whole song, it's already stuck in my head and we've only got 30 seconds. "It just happened this way, it happened this way." And, "If you believe in death you're certain to die." Good stuff there. Refuge gives me a very 90s vibe--good 90s, that is--at least so far. As said by others, hard to tell with no vocals--unless this ends up being an instrumental :O.

EA is too short to get a good impression, but the clip we got a while on .net of the bridge sounded like it could've come straight from Clumsy, at least to my ears. Gave me Trapeze vibes. Never Get Over You is too short for me to comment.

So far the only songs that don't do anything for me are Dreamland and White Flags. Although now I've got White Flags in the background, and I'm liking it more. And I adore the piano (or not-piano, as TW has indicated) in Dreamland, the melody and lyrics just don't stand out to me too much. And Paper Moon is, of course, way cool.

Point is, I'm psyched for the record.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

Riverline's $1.35 each way, NEC is $12.50. So total for a round trip is $27.70. BUT, you have to be aware of when the Riverline stops running, because if you miss it, you'll spend your night at a train station. It's not THAT bad, though, I've done it before.

If you decide to go for it, I can tell you a few more details of how to do it. :) It's easy peasy.

That seems expensive if you ask me. We do that for Philly and it is only $22.00 RT. Unless it went up. YOu take the train to Trenton then catch the Septa train in to Philly..

If you are talking about NYC I think the show is sold out now.

Hmm... I can't imagine Septa being any cheaper than the super cheap Riverline... plus since we're Jersey folk, that'd mean getting to Philly first, which is another cost for the Speedline.

I got cut off before I could edit that post. To Trenton was not that expensive. SInce you live before Philly do not understand why it would be more then that..I think RT to Trenton is about $18.00 or so,. I have not taken the train since 07' so it could of went up in two years.

You mean the train from NYC to Trenton's cheaper? Which company runs the RT? I've only used the NEC to get from Trenton to NYC before.
