Oh man, I know, right? Is Pixar ever gonna put out a bad movie? Cos it doesn't seem that way.

I'm watching Pride & Prejudice right now. The new version, with Kiera Knightly. I don't like how they filmed some of it (it's not amazingly faithful to the book), but I do love the movie as a movie.

Burn After Reading. I thought it had some really slow parts, which mostly dealt with the characters tying into each other. Some really funny parts, but overall I'd say it's a rental if you haven't already seen it.

John Malkovich is pretty great, though.

I saw Ghost Town with my mom yesterday. Really liked it! Some of the dialogues that were there for comedic effect went on too long (three that I can think of), but overall it was cute. :)

Ooooh I really liked that version. I adore Kiera, though, so that didn't hurt. That movie was beautifully filmed, absolutely gorgeous to watch. The veiled statue in the one scene absolutely captivated me. So much so that I actually looked it up immediately; it's Veiled Vestal by Raffaele Monti.

Truly amazing. I'd love to go see it in real life some day.

Thank you, I thought the same thing - I had no clue what it was called and I always forget to look it up. I have a short attention span. Where is it located, do you know?

I just can't believe someone was able to capture that veiled face in marble. It's on display at an estate called Chatsworth in England, which looks amazing in itself.

Wow, that looks like an amazing place to see, too bad I didn't make it there while I was in England over the summer!

I was looking at the wedding packages (wishful thinking) and they aren't really expensive at all (I was expecting amounts like 10,000 pounds, and their most expensive package is about 2700 pounds which is only about $5000) for an estate like that. Although the ceremony room doesn't seem that exciting.

And Saman - who gives a crap? She's rich and famous, she can afford to have her name misspelled by the common people :P

//That last bit to Saman wasn't serious :P

I watched Run Fatboy, Run last night. Oh man. I hadn't laughed really all day, but I laughed so hard at that movie. Plus I have a soft spot for Simon Pegg. But I wasn't expecting his rival to <spoiler> turn out to be an asshole - I guess that's how they managed to work in the reconciliation with Libby but it still bothered me a bit. Other than that, I loved it!

Woah, really? That does seem really affordable for someplace like that.

I totally have the website in my "Travel" bookmarks. Someday, I'll actually be able to go through all those and go to the places I have in there!

I thought that spoiler part was lame too!
It just seemed kind of a cop-out at the last minute to have him lose his temper once and all of a sudden make everyone think he's a terrible person. Movies do that too much.
