The interviewer started asking him about Superman and the "crazy" falsetto on that song, and Raine immediately started going on about how it was toned down in Gravity because Bob Rock "didn't understand that element of his voice", but that now he's going back to the type of falsetto in Curve. Sick news.

Hypothetical Trusty was probably drinking a beer in that spit take.

Poor Beer. Never had the chance to be swallowed. RIP spit beer.

Ohh I missed this. Thanks for the updates. I wonder how that crazy falsetto will manifest itself. So far it hasn't been too 'erratic'

Can you restate this? It seems conflicting "back to his old days" and "hasn't been able to" didn't make sense

Hello,

I'm the guy who interviewed Raine. I will post the entire show by Monday morning 03/19/2012. I also videotaped the entire interview, but that will take a little bit longer as I have to edit it and sync it with the better audio from the board. Thanks to those who tuned in live. For those of you that missed it, it will be up shortly. Thanks again. - Matt.

Honestly, it's one of the best interviews. It felt like a calm and chill discussion, more than an interview.

Raine: Vocally, I'm back. There's a lot of falsetto on this new record and that stuff (referring to a question about Superman's Dead) is back in my wheelhouse again.

I love that Raine admitted that All You Did and The End are inorganic and that he's not that crazy about them lol.

Also, I found it hilarious how Raine kept dodging the questions about Nickelback lmao.

That's probably the best complement. With most guests (the ones I don't want to argue with), I just want to have a "calm and chill discussion."I was nervous as hell at first because I'm such a fan. I'm sure some of you have met Raine, but for those who haven't, he couldn't have been more gracious with his time and friendly, etc. Awesome.
