...new album?

I sure hope that these two songs are not the basis of the album... Maybe it's best that they keep working on the album so as to improve on the quality. Hell they can put it out in 2006 for all I care, as long as it isn't crap.

yea i agree completely... i'd rather see a really good album even if its released later

Jeremy said as his drum clinic that they were planning on a September 2004 release but felt rushed and wanted to make the album as good as possible (says they are on the "verge of something special").

The album will be out Early 2005 and may be called "Vampires" or "Unusual Amount of Common Sense" (I like this one...).

I like UAoCS as an actual title, but Vampires fits better with OLP's history of short or at least easily abbreviated album titles. UAoCS looks so ugly. Maybe if they made it, "Unusual... Amount of Common Sense."

That is a really awesome title. Unfortunately you can't judge a book by its cover.

Vampires is a pathetic name at best. And buddy, if you don't like how it looks abbreviated then learn to spell and type out in whole.

Though Vampires seems like a pathetic name, I think it is supposed to mean something more than blood sucking demons. Unfortunately, it's not a great metaphore (in fact, it's a pretty crappy one without any transition between the two ideas).

As for Unusual Ammount of Common Sense - I think it's cool depending on the context. If there's a song by that name, I'd say it's a crappy one. If, however, it's from a line from a song, or just a general synopsis of the album's political views, I think I like it.

I guess we arn't going to know the context of the albums title until we hear the album....which makes judging it kind of redundant.

im not really into the "propsed" album names... im sure they can think of something better. and they will... those are just to cause a stir on here and other OLP chat places. OLP fans around the world are now talking about the album name... and thats exactly what they want, speculation
