I too saw the Dark Knight, it was amazing. It was by far the best movie I've seen in years. Ledger did a fantastic job. Also, I saw Hancock a little over a week ago... it wasn't bad, but it just didn't live up to the hype.

I watched the new Futurama movie tonight (The Beast with a Billion Backs). It was stupid but really funny. I enjoyed it

The Dark Knight is indeed spectacular. It's really good. The editing and pacing of certain parts, not good at all, but hey, movies have time constraints, so they have to leave you going "WTF!? that makes no sense!!!"

mama mia. so completely cheesey but entertaining. I readily admit the first scene had me sinking in my chair saying i was so embarrassed. Hell if i look like Meryl at 50 i would be happy let alone 59!! She looked like she had an absolute blast. bond should not sing although i was crying i was laughing so hard. Nothin wrong with a good laugh.

saw the dark knight again, still as awesome as the first time! I sure hope they release like an unrated or director's cut though to address some of the editing issues!

I didn't even notice any editing problems. It was a very well performed movie. Heather said that she felt The Joker was one of the most disturbing villains she had ever seen in a movie.

I agree, he was, but in my case, I couldn't help but love the character. In the past, comic movies have been filled with two-dimentional characters that you never really grasp why they're the villain or hero. Like how Jack Nicholson portrayed the Joker.. he did a good job, but his character really didn't grab you like Heath's did. Jack's just seemed like a jerk, Leader's was psychotic. However, I'm not really going to compare the performances, as they were two completely different things

i finally saw The Dark Knight - soooo good. i wish i was at home to have my comics to compare with, but i thought it was pretty tight. i would have liked to get a little more into two-face, but i love this representation of the joker.
for the record, mark hamill still has the best joker laugh

if you see it again, you'll almost definitely notice them, mostly due to time constraints, which is why an unrated or extended version would be awesome. (it would contain more joker!) even though the movie is already really long, it would make the movie better.

To me, the movie didn't even seem that long. I was so sucked into the characters (mainly the Joker, and a bit of seeing what's becoming of Dent) and the story, at the end, well, I found myself not wanting it to end quite yet.
Also, on an unrelated note, I saw Step Brothers yesterday. It's been criticized for being "immature," but imo, what makes a comedy good is if it can make you laugh (but it has to have a decent story to it as well, it can't be shit like "Epic Movie" and the rest of those types). This movie was halarious though, John C. Reilly quite possibly outshines Ferrell. Also, it's good to see Will finally get out of the same character he's been doing in movies the past few years (Talladega Nights (although I loved this one), Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro).

I saw Step Brothers too, and while it is funny, Will Ferrell's character isn't a departure from anything we have seen him do in the past. John C. Reilly is pretty awesome in it though, that much is true.

So the new X Files movie sucks!
Just figured you'd all want to know.

Tropic Thunder. We laughed through most all the movie. A couple of slow parts, but the beginning catches you off guard, and Tom Cruise is pretty damn funny.

Ew, Tom Cruise is in that movie? No way am I going to see it now! I can't stand that asshole!
I saw Borat finally. I thought it was pretty dumb, and I think I only laughed once, and it was just a tiny snort. Otherwise, I was pretty bored.
