The environment is a pretty complex thing. There's plenty of ways that people can choose to look at it such that they don't have to admit guilt.

It's the natural greed of humanity that's destroying the environment. But, that's natural. Guilt avoided.

How can we end greed? I do not know. The best thing I can think of is to do what you can do personally to reduce your impact on the environment. Reduce, reuse, recycle. Conserve water. That sort of thing. I would say reduce and reuse aren't given the attention they deserve. Speaking of which, this Friday is Buy Nothing Day.

Can we be sisters or something? I always accidentally call it the Hour, too. For some reason, my phone won't add "Stroumboulopoulos" into its dictionary, no matter how hard I try. It's a pain to ABC it everytime I want to mention my handsome and brooding boyfriend.

We do share the love and admiration of the same men! I must say, I find it rare that I have any thing in common with a teenage girls these days.

I found it funny and wondered if I would be the only one to notice that they had spelt Stroumboulopoulos wrong on that webcast. <<<looking bad to see if I spelt it right<<

On a less serious note:  @George for telling Raine the polar bear was coming to get him. I was wondering why Chantal thought only Lucca would be concerned that daddy was about to get eaten.

Here is my theory on that. It depends where you live. You will have people say it does not exist cause there has not been much change in their area.. There are people even on here that says it was cold etc. It is cold but not in the places it needs to be that cold. I read or saw a few years ago saying how the ocean temps are 2 degrees warmer then before. If that keeps happening it will bring about warmer climates where they need cold. Where I live it is still cold so people might say it does not exist. In the artic where you need below freezing temps it is not that cold. Chantal said it was only minus 8. I think that is in F instead of C. That is warm for there. I have a friend that lives up in Northern Manitoba and this tim eof year is around -15 or so degrees.

I think she said Lucca cause Sal is to young to understand and Rowan is probably old enough. LOL..

As for the plastic I was surprised cause they both come across as such Environment friendly couple in alot of things i read on them. That is why i said I thought i miss understood. Even paper bags would be better cause it can be reused.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I wonder if they were Zip Lock bags. I take the little snack ones for Goldfish crackers and such sometimes but I reuse them. Maybe that's why she sent them but the teacher didn't realize that.

Or maybe she just made it up to use as an example. I make up stories to help kids at school understand things sometimes. :D

I've got the spelling down to a science: if it is a consonant, assume the vowels following are 'ou'; however, if the consonant is an 'l', it is always followed by only an 'o'. Basically, it's always 'ou' unless it's after an 'l'.

I find it rare to find much in common anyways... certain things, but never my combination! My mommy says I'm special.

"That songs really about... well, not a ghost persay, but someone who acts like a ghost, you know? I think we all have people in our lives that you think you're close to, but then you realize "Wow, I really don't even know this person." You know, and I think that it could be a relationship that's lost or a friend that gets off track, and it's just kind a... I don't know if it ends up being a really positive thing. It's really just about trying to describe that situation where it's like, "Man, I thought I knew you but I guess I didn't." And sometimes that's just a reality as well. It's like you-... I think that anyone who has any kind of spirituality in them, you always think you can fix things, you know? Whether it's bringing someone to your yoga class or whatever you know, or like trying to get them to eat better. Some people are just different and sometimes you just gotta accept that."

I hate how Raine gives multiple unrelated meanings for songs lol. I never know which one to believe.

I'd say one song can be inspired by multiple events/thoughts/subjects/etc. :)

I don't see how the two descriptions are necessarily separate inspirations, could be the same one.

I just read somewhere that "Innocent" from Gravity was initially titled "Arrogant" and had a much darker and rocking theme, but was softened at Bob Rock's request (surprised?). Is this true? anyone know?

Well I'm going to thank Bob Rock for that one, because Innocent rocks my 16 year-old world.

Didn't Jon Stewart used to host the Transparent Humans radio show for OLP or something? At least I remember reading something like that on OLP.cc.
