seeing a topless woman on tv is such a small deal, it happens so much in movies
of course i would like the trend to continue

as for male nudity, its not like its the only movie to have a naked dude in it
other actors have done it
kevin bacon
bruce willis
ewan mcgregor
harvey keitel

speaking just from opinion i dont see the big deal, if i was an actor i would not have a problem doing it as long as it made sense in context of the movie

so much taboo is placed on something as simple as the human body when really everbodys got one (male or female) and we all know what the other gender looks like anyway

well everyone, except for you. you only know what boys look like, you always close and cover your eyes when female nudity is present or on tv.

Indiana Jones. I was disappointed.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull also,

but I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but it was still fun and cheesy. it had the original indy feel to it. The only thing I'd like to complain about is the lack of whip using and clever dialogue that made indy seem like more of a smart-ass. Although he's older now, so he might not be such a smart-ass anymore.

not sure when but episodes 4-6 and the 2 ewok made for tv movies w/ wicket.

the 2 ewok movies left me to conclude that mr. lucas had a problem with hookers and blow and needed coin in a hurry.

that and jim hensen either created teek or his work was ripped off by someone or finally, he and whoever did create teek were taking the same drugs

the reason i thought of hensen:

Image (especially the furry white guy in the middle)

anyways.. teek reminded me of jim hensen. the acting was terrible by the kid who played mace in the first ewok movie. thankfully emotard died pretty damn quick in the second. i considered it a gift from god and sacrificed some penguins.

I saw 27 Dresses last night - I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would.

I wanted to smack Katherine Heigl across the face throughout most of the movie. She had absolutely no agency, she just sat there and let things happen to her, and in the end she got what she wanted, and all she had to do was make a lame-ass speech on a boat at someone else's wedding.

If the message of the movie was "let others have control over your life, just sit back and let things happen to you and eventually you'll be happy" well then they succeeded in getting that point across...

I'm just sick of weak-ass women getting exactly what they want just because they're pretty.

the new indiana Jones and I really didn't like it, I was laughing at the movie the whole time. Couldn't believe these cheap dialogues and the editing of the film ahahaha I swear I could hear Steven say: "action' then 'cut'

the editing was bad, definitely. same with some of the CGI effects. Like the gophers! the cheesy lines however, were completely deliberate. watch any of the old indiana jones movies and they fit right in. I think I would've been disappointed without the new one being campy. It wouldn't feel like an indiana jones film.

I had meant to comment about the editing too. Did you guys feel like it was very rushed? Small the things caught my eye, which I normally miss until it's pointed out on DVD bonus features or something.

Also, thanks Paramount for releasing Cloverfield on Blu-Ray 6 weeks after releasing it on standard DVD. Assholes. I hope they put Transformers out on BD soon.

yeah i definitely noticed it. I think they could've used a better editor. Also matt, a lot of movies aren't on blu-ray yet, the mist is one example, because the Weinstein company were huge supporters of HD-DVD, so when a lot of these companies have invested money into HD-DVD, they now have to switch over to Blu-ray, so we're probably going to see delays for a little while until studios get their acts together.

I was actually surprised that Cloverfield came out so fast on Blu-Ray. I figured it would be in the 3rd quarter of the year before Paramount got their stuff out there.
