"Taggart said the band, which formed in Toronto in 1992, is working on its eighth studio album. It will start recording tracks this autumn, he said, and release the disc in the new year.

Taggart said the sessions will follow the same formula as the last, recording at Maida's home studio with the lead singer as producer. "
Then the album it's set in 2011...

I wouldn't expect it. Healthy's release date changed ridiculous amounts of times, and when they started working on their seventh album, they said it wouldn't be nearly as long. It was released 3-4 years after Steve posted that blog.

It would be awesome if fans could hear the songs in the early stages and maybe throw in their own input for the band, not saying they need to listen but it would be cool for fans to have some kind of creative input

I believe that's what Weezer did with Maladroit.

Although the downside to that would be that OLP would have to hear our bitching about how certain versions didn't make and how the new versions aren't as good. But we'd appreciate snippets. :nod:
