they're more popular in ny then they are here.

yeah i figured as much after i wrote that.

the biggest they could do here would be state theatre MAYBE if they had a popular opener.

They are getting bigger exponentially. I haven't seen anyone get as much recognition as quickly as them. I'm sure it's happened, but I've never seen it that quick. If they put out another good album, I'm sure they could get one of our biggest venues out here.

they sold out saint andrews in 2 weeks that isn't bad... they had good openers like hot rod circuit, but they aren't popular.. i say they could get the state, didn't the format, yellowcard, and something coperate just sell it out, they could do it easy i think.

Biggest News Ever For Me. As you guy may or may not know but I love all sorts of British bands and I just heard to day some great news from different people! Here goes!

The Darkness are coming June 9th to Nashville.

A and Feeder are also rumored to be coming to Nashville in JUNE with a HUGE headlinging band.

The Darkness dont have this show up on their official site BUT ticketmaster has the gig slated to go on sale THIS FRIDAY or SATURDAY with NO openers mentioned.

THIS could mean that A and FEEDER WILL be at this show. This means I must get tickets.

Also, from another friend I was told that THE CURE, MUSE, INTERPOL, and MOGWAI will be kicking OFF their tour HERE in Nashville either June or July. this coming STRAIGHT from MUSE's manager to her, and then to me!!!

SO that gives me like nearly all of my favorite British bands all in ONE or TWO months. WOW.

Someone catch me. This is like a kid in the candy store. *thud*

Plus I am seeing Less Than Jake tonight and bringing my 5 year old son - WITH earplus mind you :P

I love Feeder. I'm betting they will not be visiting Grand Rapids though, and I won't have money to get to Detroit or Chicago. :(

Humm....Treble Charger is playing at the Klondike festival. That could be fun.

I need to know whos playing at the Salmon Festival though....OLP played that like 2 years ago, Matt Good a few years back...I think at some point Bon Jovi did too. They always get kick ass bands to play there. Last year my sister ended up parting with Sam Roberts and Swollen Members cause she ran into them that night. Madness I tells ya!

If only I had a car...

If I wasn't so broke I'd book a holiday to Tennessee this summer. Those bands are awesome (except A, they didn't impress me much).

You saw Travis?? I wish I was you. I have wanted to see Travis for ages now and they NEVER come near me. If they come to Atlanta this year, I am sooo going.

I havent seen the Darkness but I have to for sheer fun. Everyone makes fun of them but i bet they put on a GREAT live show.

A and Feeder? Those are like 2 of my favorite bands!! Cure and Muse?? Other favorite bands. This will be a summer to remember. Feeder is on the IFFY side but Im praying those boys make it here. :)

Holy Crap.

Why the hell is Train playing here?! Seriously? St. John's is their only Canadian date. Did no one tell them that bands generally only play Toronto or something? Gah.

:wtf:
