I just went to see Thornley and 3 Days Grace last night.

It was awesome. 3DG are incredible live and I can't wait till the Thornley CD comes out(May 11th)

also here is a weird line up(I've actually seen a few weird double bills on tour this summer)
3 Doors Down and Nickleback.

last year they toured with OLP, this year Nickelback. Weird, very weird and Alannis Morrisette is playing with the Barenaked Ladies.

That's kind of funny. In 2002, this fraternity on campus booked Nickleback to play here. Last year, they got 3 Doors Down.

If Trapt starts touring with them it'll be a conspiracy!

Thornley was awesome. I really loved watching KEN(BASS) play.

haha. I got you beat. They played with 3DG and the whole show was 92.3cents. It is what the staion (KROCK in NYC) call a lough dough show.

They were alot of fun to watch. I also got to meet them, which was cool cause I met Ian years ago when a friend introduced me to him at the CASBY's. Plus they ended the set with OAF which I love with a passion .

Well their song Perfect Day as alarm bell is pretty freakin' good for a demo. Hopefully it is their first single as you mentioned.

When is your birhtday? Those are the best shows. When someone you love plays on your birthday.

I saw OLP on my B-day in 2000. MY favorite show on my birthday was in 2003. CAMP FREDDY in NYC. a bunch of my faves made appearances at that show, plus I got to see Robbie Williams perform earlier. Can't go wrong there.

went and saw brandnew tonight at SUNY Binghamton for free over dane cook (if any of you saw that post). We got there and there was already a sea of emo kids in front of the stage ranging from probably 10 years old-college kids (which there were very few of and the show was at a college). By the time the show started it was packed and we found a spot in the first row but had our view partially blocked by speakers away from the mosh pit.

Nightmare of You opened, which incudes members of the ex-movielife and were awesome. They have a poppy/happy non-punk sound to them which reminds me of Phantom Planets first cd.

Brandnew rocked as usual and Jesses voice sounded amazing but there was too much craziness including security guards who didnt give a shit what they were doing and dropped crowd surfers on purpose. Poorly organized event but good to see Brandnew again before they hit up huge arenas.

huge arenas? haha, i think you're definitely giving them more credit in the popularity department than they deserve.
