I always thought if they got together it would be the end of the series as well, but now not so much. There are so many other great storylines to follow, Andy/Dwight (When Andy gets back). Dwight/Angela, There's also a new Ryan/Kelly storyline (I won't ruin it for those who don't like spoilers) upcoming that I'm looking foward to.

Really looking forward to Buisness School, the episode previews are awesome. Vampire Jim cracked me up

Yeah, there's a lot of other things for the show to focus on, plus I think there's enough they could do with a full "relationship JAM" that would keep their story interesting. Besides, I'd much rather see them wrap up the "will they/won't they" storyline before it gets too stale. They managed to mix it up a LOT this season with the role reversal and whatnot, but it would be hard to carry it on for another full season or more without it becoming tiresome.

I'm hoping that when Andy gets back we'll get to see a bit of Jim playing pranks that either pit Andy and Dwight against each other or somehow force them to work together. It would just add a cool dimension to Jim's pranks.

I agree. I think they should get together or not, and then just have that be part of the story. Focus on someone else. If they ruin it by making them stale, I'm gonna be pissed off!

I haven't seen or heard any spoilers, where do you get them?

www.officetally.com is good for news about the show, often including spoilers (although they'll warn if a news item contains spoilers)

That was a fantastic episode!

Michael really shined in this one. Yes, he was awkward as hell in front of Ryan's class - but that's Michael for you! And really, he was just defending Dunder Mifflin.

And his moment with Pam was amazing. He unknowingly said exactly the right thing right when Pam needed it most. That was a really touching, sad and beautiful moment.

Jenna's a fantastic actress, too. It hurts every time she cries.

I love that Roy's already coming across as a jerk. He was laying it on WAY too thick, and Pam saw it. Bringing his brother (the brother he brought on their first date - when they forgot her at the hockey game) and leaving early did not help his cause.

I was expecting Jim to show up at the end instead of Michael, but I think it was spectacularly written the way it was. Jim really couldn't come to the show. I'm not sure if he was even invited, but in any case, Pam had just gotten back together with Roy, so going to her show would have just been asking for punishment ... he knew they'd be together there, and that would have just hurt.

Everything about the episode was just fantastic. I'm really happy about it all around.

I also love how Ryan finally got knocked down off his high horse (and that his punishment ended up being sitting next to Kelly! HAHA!). For someone who doesn't have even one sale, he's been pretty cocky lately (not giving Jim his old desk, for instance). Now Jim will in all likelihood take his old desk back, and be seated right smack between Karen and Pam ... awkward much?

I think it's pretty clear that we're still headed for a genuine JAM connection soon (although I have my fears that they're going to make us wait until the start of next season). It's clear that Pam's not happy with Roy. She's gone back to what's safe and comfortable. But she's not in love. When she had close moments with Jim, she would positively light up. When Roy said "love you" and she replied "you too" it was flat and, well, rather Pam-ish.

I hope that hearing Oscar and Gil talk about her honesty and courage (or the lack thereof), plus Michael telling her how proud he is of her will make Pam rethink the path she's on. Maybe she'll muster up the courage to take that risk and get out of this dead-end relationship with Roy and possibly even let Jim know how she feels.

I definitely like how they've brought things almost full-circle for Pam (at least for the moment). She's in the same position she was in before, except that now she's battered and bruised from her time away from Roy and the pain of watching Jim be with Karen. In the real world, this could cause her to either permanently stick with what's safe and familiar (Roy) or finally take the plunge and be the strong independent woman that Jim has always seen in her. The optimist in me is betting that the writers are planning for the latter option.

I thought that Michael was a little harsh at the end of the business school scene, I think it's the one thing that I didn't really like in the episode. I expected him to maybe get quiet and later defend the company in an interview with the camera where he can say whatever he wants without contest rather than storming out like that. But I do like how Ryan's being punished so I'll live with it.

I think I am the only one who doesn't really think Ryan did anything wrong? He's right about Dunder-Mifflin. It is pretty awesome that he has to sit with his girlfriend now though. If I worked there, that's where I'd want to be. I bet you could take stellar naps back there.

I am also getting annoyed with Pam and her vulnerability act. Well it's not act. So I am getting annoyed with her perpetual vulnerability.

He was wrong in that he made Michael think he was going to be a special speaker because he was so good, like it was a big honour, when really he was just there so the class could drill him about his failing business. ...which is bad enough, except you have to keep in mind that this is Michael Scott we're talking about. Dunder-Mifflin is his life, and he takes that sort of thing VERY personally. Ryan totally took advantage of Michael and basically turned on him just to get a better grade.

Pam was bound to be vulnerable at this point. However, I think that hearing Gil and Oscar discuss her lack of honesty and courage will drive her to finally grow a pair.

The new assertive Pam is weird and funny!

I loved that episode, I'm pretty excited for Rainn Wilson to host SNL on Saturday!

I especially liked the love dynamic between Michael and Jan. It's so awfully weird and awesome.

so ... Roy's totally insane now. how about that!

one of my favourite Pam moments is now when she goes back to the bar to get a light beer and then looks at the camera and smiles. it's the first time she's shown any confidence (when not interacting with Jim).

Maybe she'll tell me not to call her that, but I don't see her as the type to punch through walls so I'm not scared!
