Though I still don't love this song, it has definitely grown on me and I'm starting to enjoy it. The video has a fun atmosphere.

At this point I really just want a date for SMII. Thought we would have a date by now.

Thanks,

Matt.

Caught an interview Raine did with CTV Halifax and sounds like the album will be released sometime in October.

Raine Maida is doing an AMA on reddit. Pretty much confirmed Mike Turner was involved on SMII

"Mike smith is bubbles no? Did you mean Mike Turner . Yes we speak and Spiritual Machines 2 would’ve be right without Mike involved"

Don't see many comments on the music video, so I'll drop my 2 cents which is basically just me agreeing with the top comment on Youtube:

"I’m just going to say this: I’ve been a fan since Clumsy. Yes this has such a different sound, but how refreshing is it to see Raine dancing and having fun in a video? Excited for more new material."

Wasn't expecting to be sold on Raine's dance moves. I think it's great- it's fun and different just like the song.

No radio play at all for the song? Kind of surprising seeing how main stream it sounds

I dunno man, I wouldn't call this type of music "mainstream" anymore. Maybe in 2002, even 2009. But now this type of music is far from mainstream 2020s music.

It's catchy though and yeah definitely better than 2020 average mainstream, and it looks like the band invested a lot in it (Acoustic and Remixed version), I wonder if they invested too in some good promotion...it would get a good radio play all around the world

I gotta disagree with that. The sound is very much in line with today's trends in music. Even the likes of Pearl Jam and the Smashing Pumpkins adapted to a more electronic/dance style for their lead singles off their latest albums.

I thought the demo was ok. I like the lyrics in the live version better than the studio version with Nadia. Overall I like the studio version better. The production and layering is great. I'm not real big on remixes, so the Howerdel Remix is just ok too.
