I don't understand why you'd say that as if it's a fact when we don't really know for sure whether they've finished writing or not, and from what I've heard if I had to guess then I'd say they haven't finished yet.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Thing is, saying stuff like that can start rumors and get people's hopes up.

This is why we have a beef with SM.net. You guys don't see the error in this. :P

Liar was written by Raine Maida and Daniel Victor for the Neverending White Lights album. They also write another song called Faith Is Leaving which will not be released anytime soon. There could be more collaborations between these two in the near future.
It does not dictate the sound of any new OLP - only the NWL project and it's direction.

I felt the song had a weird dark almost Clumsy feel to it... I really liked that about it... I hope OLP's new album just has a way different feel, a more unique feel than Gravity.

I don't know about you guys, but I thought that Gravity was pretty dark aswell. The only thing is that it didn't sound like the message in the songs.

I NEED to hear this song! And I don't have Hub which makes it all the while harder. Is anybody willing to email it to me at spiritualjunkie@hotmail.com
Pretty please???
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong

Liar

Post by Glorious »

You'll all have to hear the full version of Liar. It's slightly different then what's on the sampler. Rain really shines, and the instrumentation is dark but very cool. I've heard parts of it.
Just hope we can all get a copy of the album soon.

I was actually pretty moved after the performance. It was so emotional.
