lol.. it appears that i did!

its funny cuz i even checked the spelling before i posted it.

:freak:

notice how everything's funny? why is that?
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

Maybe Raine was listening to Avril's Marilyn Mansion CD's when she stayed at the house while doing the record.

BTW, I like punk. Not too familar with some of the stuff today. I grew up on the Ramones, Pistols, UK Subs, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, The Cramps, X, Classic Nouveau and things like that. Funny thing is I thought No Warning sounded like the Offspring's song- The Kids Aren't All Right.

I have to hear it in completion.

I'm really looking forward to hearing how that show in August goes. I really hope we have some CMers there with tapes, so we can get full versions of some new songs :)

Well. It Sounds good. But Nikki typed out the lyrics, and i'm tempted to say that some of the parts sound like A.F.I. Not that its a bad thing, its just a shocked reaction.

"i'm forever yours.........faitherfully"

ah...good olde journey.

back to the main issue: OLP

the lyrics to this one are bad. i do not approve.

raine's voice is solid except when he does that "if you want blooooooooooooooooooooooood"

or when he does "don't waste tomoooooooooooooooorrow, or let them swaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallow"

the band sounds good, but it sounds over done, the guitar should be louder or something i dunno i'm not an expert.

overall this new demo gets a C+, this is the Official Reno Rico stance on this song.
Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown

I'm not sure about it at all.

I definitely don't like the lyrics or the way Raine's singing them. Musically it's ok I suppose, but it reminds me of some other song - though I can't remember what.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

agh, everyone's picking on Jonathon,

I still love you  :D

AFI. I never thought of that. But it is difinitely different style, lyrics then we have heard before. I just can't get over Raine writing a song called Vampires.

xcinminspiderx- I dig Manson also. I heard they were doing Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus for a greatest hits. This I got to hear.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again
