I like "The Winding Road" but it might be a little too close to Nickelback's "The Long Road"
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

I hope they don't use a title like that. Its not that good..........it reminds me of that Sheryl Crow song. Ouch.

I like album titles sometimes. This one wouldn't be on my list though. It's really about the music. If it's better than Gravity, then by all means the band can call it whatever they like.

You're right. Musicians should only talk about bubble gum and women. Unlike normal people, musicians do not have the cpaacity to begin to understand polotics and therefore should have no voice of their oppinions. I don;t want to hear about bombings or warss, I want ot hear about Raines new hairdoo.

Man I dunno when you started listening to OLP... but I think you might be better off with Britney Spears. Artists who voice their opinion on world issues do so to make you think. IF you don't agree with them, you have to think about that. If you do, then you have to think about that too. And I'd much rahter hear WTSOYF than SOT. If you want musicians that don't have opinions there's a show called American Idol I'm sure you'll dig.

oh :(

well, I suppose that's true, but this title has a good meaning to it. This is the interpretation I get of this album by what I've heard. So it's original. :P

I just noticed on the back of the Live DVD, with the track listing, one song is called Drive. I take it this a song I haven't heard... is this a possibility for the new album? And how about Our Time Is Fading?

Edit: I cannot type.

cover of a Cars song, homie. Pretty rockin' tune, too.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

Mm, I like Imagine a lot, although besides Raine's voice I can't tell a whole lot of difference between it and the original.

Of course, I love the original, so this isn't a problem or anything.

I enjoyed Dear Prudence...
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

By the way, OTIF will not be on the new CD. I believe Raine himself said so?

An interesting tidbit about the "Drive" cover. It's one of my friend's favorite songs, and he had never heard OLP before. I was listening to a mix I made of some of my favorite tracks from the Live DVD and the Live CD (basically, I edited out the ones I didn't care for as much as the ones on the DVD) and I was listening to "Drive" in my car in the parking lot (I always finish the song before I go inside to school).

This friend who loves "Drive" by the Cars was really impressed by the cover, and now he owns all 5 OLP CDs and a copy of my "Live CD - Version 2". So he got into OLP because of a song that's not even theirs :freak:

By the way, if anyone's interested, my "Live CD - Version 2" takes out "Whatever", "Clumsy", "Is Anybody Home?" and "Our Time is Fading" and adds "Mafia", "In Repair", "Drive", and "4AM".
