That sucks.

I can't get into The White Stripes either, don't know what all the fuss is about, although I must admit Seven Nation Army is a cool song and video. But I prefer The Thermals, same kind of music, but a lot better.

Do you happen to know if there are any good bands playing in London on Feb. 13th or 15th? I'd like to go see a show when I'm there, but I checked Pollstar and all the bands I like seem to be playing just before or after then.

Come and see Maroon 5 on the 15th. I'm going with my brother and a friend of mine and Chantal from the OLPUK boards.

Jet are playing on the 13th - but it looks like it's sold out :(
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start

Don't plan on seeing AFI in California if you haven't already got tickets. They sell out in like 5 seconds.

Oh haha, I thought we were talking about TGUK.

Sigh, I am stupid.

I've already missed my chance to see AFI TWICE! They were at Warped Tour but I didn't stay for it, and they came here to a festival a couple months after that but I had no one to go with.

I really want to see Finger 11 when they paly NYC. Only problem is - I just found out it is a KROCK lowDOugh show. They only charge 92.3cents for the show( the station call leters) Plus they are the support to Lost Prophets. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Here is what is bad. Those low dough shows always sell out in seconds and I have a very improtant meeting for work at the time tickets go on sale. Oh well, I will have to go and hand around day of show and hope something is released. I am also going to try to contact the person I am somewhat friendly with from the station. They said if I eve rneeded tikcets to one of their shows let them know and they will try to get me in.

SOOZY-why would you pay that much for the White Stipes? That is way too much. Then again, I think they were alot over here also. Sorry about your car.

The next show I might see is Starsailor. They are doing a show tomorrow and a in-store next week. SHows have gotten so expensive. I don't go to them like I use to.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I wanted to see Starsailor, but they're not worth $25.

Going to Death By Stereo? Make sure to not die. That seems to be the happening thing to do at their shows nowadays, dying.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

It wasn't my car - it was my friend's. They took it away today to get it fixed.

And as for paying that much ... I'm not sure why. Probably cos my friend wanted to see them!

This festival was actually decent. OLP headlined it the year before and we got at least 12 songs.

i heard AFI was pretty lame this year at the big ass show though. my friend jason said all they did was play stuff from sing the sorrow. not that anything's wrong with that album but i mean they have a lot of other good stuff.

yeah, all their festival setlist is: girl's not grey, leaving song pt. 2, total immortal, miseria cantare, days of the phoenix, and maybe silver and cold or death of seasons if you're lucky.

anyways

yeah, death by stereo should be tons of fun. and it's kind of impossible to fall out of a window and die at the shelter, so i think i'm good. maybe.

Ahhh come on, I'm just fucking with ya. You listen to good music. I mean, hey, because of you I gave Modest Mouse a second chance and they're not that bad. We all have our guilty pleasures. I mean, I'm a closet Blink fan. Didn't like Take Off Your Pants And Jacket that much, but I still like them, and that's just embarassing.

Awww, thanks. That's okay, one of my best guy friends likes blink and I make fun of him for it all the time, but I still love him.
