The National ~ High Violet
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Lucinda Williams - Can't Let Go

Gosh I'm loving her lately. She's pretty neat.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.

I've been listening to the new STP album. Aside from a few songs, I really enjoy it!

Awesome! I just made my top 20 playlist for The National last night.

Hope it includes All the Wine, Mr. November, Secret Meeting, and Mistaken for Strangers. Also, Slow Show is a good song. My friend loves it and I hated it at first but it's grown on me.

It includes all of those except for Secret Meeting. That one was in originally, but I think I dropped it for Squalor Victoria, because I'm big on Boxer. Haha. I lied by the way. It's 21 songs. Here it is in order:

England, Mistaken For Strangers, Available, Lit Up, Squalor Victoria, The Geese of Beverly Road, Without Permission, Green Gloves, Wasp Nest, Daughters of the Soho Riots, Bloodbuzz Ohio, Blank Slate, All The Wine, Guest Room, Conversation 16, Slow Show, Beautiful Head, American Mary, Driver, Surprise Me, Mr. November, Lucky You.
Talk, talk is cheap, puts me to sleep.

I love that song! I've been listening to Paramore a lot over since Brand New Eyes came out and I'm really enjoying. I wasn't much of a Paramore fan before.
