New ad campaign leading up to G8 summit unveiled

TORONTO, MEDIA ADVISORY --(Marketwire - June 6, 2008) - Make Poverty History will unveil its "Get to the Point" campaign including new television and magazine ads featuring top Canadian celebrities at a press conference on June 10 at 7pm in Toronto at The Music Gallery.
The ads are intended to encourage Canadians to keep our government to the promise it made to the world and set a timetable to reach the UN aid target of 0.7% of our national economy. Organizers will also outline the campaign's action plan leading up to and during the upcoming G8 summit in Japan this July.
