I didn't add a limit... though perhaps I accidentally did something. The only thing I can think of is if the post is so long that the connection times out before the data gets sent / page loads... but considering that attachments work, that's probably not the problem.

Well obviously.
But anyway, nope, it's definitely not timing out. It immediately goes to the white screen and status bar says "Done".
