Ouch! Did you have much data on the main drive or was it pretty much just the system/apps?

SSD can also be tricky because although there are no moving parts, they will become unreliable after data has been written to the same location too many times. I'm going to rebuild my desktop this year because it's slowly having various hardware failures, and I'm thinking SSD for the boot drive but I'm going to take a much stricter approach in configuration and usage to keep from writing more data than necessary on the main drive.

Purchased the SSD. Had 2 Best Buy gift cards, so they came in handy for the purchase. The real pain in the ass will be reloading all the "software that is being tested for security purposes" onto my computer, and all the little plugins, and codecs that were installed. Luckily I kept most all of the install files together in one folder that I recovered.

The old drive was just mainly OS and programs, and a few random documents. I was able to salvage most all of it. I'm hoping after I get Windows installed again, I can go back in and hook the old drive up as a slave and get some of the folders I need for my POP email and browser passwords.

I've been spending way too much time arguing with a 15 year old boy on fb about how much Creed sucks...I consider it a good cause, we don't need these kids entering adulthood thinking Creed is good music.

Creed is the Glenn Beck of Music.
Just when you think it can't get any worse ...

Thank you for fighting the good fight.

I had a phone interview with Groupon on Monday. I have to do 3-4 sample Groupons (I already submitted one writing sample, which got me the interview) before I'm hired, but I'm at least getting paid for these samples. So that's fun. A job maybe!

Hoping the Wings havn't had too much time off.
Zets and Franzen need time to heal yes, but everyone else needs to stay sharp.

Sharks don't have Nabokov to solve, but Niemi won the cup last year.
