hahahahaha, ew
I know what you mean, but honestly I can't blame her (or him). The situation they've been in since the start of the show (even with the role-reversal this season) is an extremely complicated one to be in. Do you risk the friendship on the chance that they'll feel the same way? Do you bet on them feeling strongly enough to leave the person they're involved with for you? Can you really take that chance, with the risk of losing not only the chance at that relationship, but also the friendship you hold dear? As for Jim, he can't say or do anything since he's with Karen (plus the fact that he's put it all on the line ... twice ... and she's said no ... twice).
As for the Roy situation in this episode ... I'm a little disappointed that Pam hasn't learnt better than to fall for Roy's momentary glimpses of likability. I'm not surprised that it happened, of course. We've still got a long time before this season ends, and they're going to drag it out. Plus, from a character standpoint, she was feeling extremely sad and vulnerable, not to mention being surrounded by what was essentially her wedding that never happened.
