I'm a teacher! Well, a substitute teacher right now.... but some day I'll have a full teaching job as an elementary school teacher or a reading specialist.

It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

I'm going to teach in my post-retail career. First, though, I'm going to have to spend a summer working at Dick's Last Resort to deal with any anger issues that may be lingering.

officially a stay-at-home mom for the next... 46 weeks or so. though not really a mom yet. but still! hopefully it's a lot better than three years of mind-numbing retail.

It may be the only effective way to get to some of the students I've seen these days!

I work in Finance in Health Care. Yep, an accounting geek by day and by night, well - still probably a geek...lol

I also run my own business as a cake decorator - but I don't call myself that because it sounds too holly homemaker (which I am not, in fact, I don't really like baking)...how about a "cake designer" as I only really like the creating something part. But that's all too long to explain to everyone so I guess I am a cake decorator when I'm not an accounting geek.

Especially the older ones! I had the MOST disrespectful group of 5th graders last week on Friday. I've been in lots of schools and seen many, many children.... none ever quite this bad and Newport News, VA is not exactly the scariest place in to work in the world. These kids at this particular school made me wish I had a shotgun!!

I had a band teacher who was rumored to have been fired for jokingly telling students that he was going to shoot them, and (in response to a student's inquiry) what model shotgun he would use.

Yes, of course I have heard of Duff! But more often than being compared to him I get "who are you trying to be - Martha Stewart or something?" *shiver* I will say that my cakes tend to be more like Duff's than anything traditional...maybe someday when I make something CMers will be interested in I will post a pic (which might be sooner than later as my bday is coming and I am making what I want!!)

So I have a question about the cake I mentioned above...are there rules for posting realistic looking private body parts made out of 100% edible materials?

I was looking through my cake pictures thinking about posting some but was not sure about a couple of them.
