i’ve taken some time to listen to the album as a whole several times… and actually, I am starting to enjoy it.

it’s one of those albums that takes time to appreciate, but a lot of good music is that way.

the only think that continues to bother me is Raine’s lackluster vocals… I can only stand to ...

not the biggest fan of this album… there’s not a single song that stands out for me as great… Good Die Young comes closest to me. they are all kind of middling songs… and the less said about the drums the better.

it's definitely a different raine, but in a good way for once! falsetto, but not in the same way as it was in pre-Gravity days, but still great... he has almost a vibration to his voice, not sure if that was electronically-created or just his natural vibrato.

if anyone wants to hear the new SM2 song just pm me... unless that is frowned upon by mods here, in which case they can let me know.

stream is a disaster so far.... froze and lost audio most of the time, we're about a half hour in and heard maybe 2 minutes of stuff.

they played an undisclosed song from SMII and it sounded amazing though, very much original SM vibes.

Doing an album called SM II without Mike is very, very odd to me.

however not unexpected.... raine's ego is a force to be reckoned with

I don't pretend to know whether mike or raine are better or worse human beings than each other, and I only became a fan after mike left and never got to meet ...

I just listened to the unreleased song "Tales from a Grocery List" for the first time in forever, and man is it good!
