Jerry Orbach Dies

:neutral: :cry: He was det. Briscoe on Law and Order for years and years. He only quit the show at the end of last season. This is awful.

He died of Cancer, at age 69.

They dedicated tonight's episode of Law & Order to him... it was a rerun, though... :uhh:

I think it might've been... we didn't watch it cos it was a rerun, we watched CSI NY instead.

:lol: Lori has a good reason to hate it, though.

I know none of the dramas on TV are accurate, but I like to watch them and pretend that the success rates for finding murderers and other bad guys are actually near 100% in real life like on the shows. It's a nice little escape from the reality that people get away with horrible things all the time.

Well this must have thorwn a spanner in the works for L&O trial By Jury where Jerry was the lead detective in the show.l
