Thats kindof generalizing, . But i did read in somewhere he has to pay 10% of his winnings to the church for the tithe. Wasnt a tithe abolished in like, the 1700's?

He doesn't HAVE to, but it's just something church members do.
Besides, most churches have some sort of way of gathering tithing, whether it's calling it that or passing a pate around.
It's really not generalizing. Utah and Mormons are pretty closely tied. Name something and let's see if we can find a link
