Well, this thing will never hapenned as many of you Raimi said no to the franchise (instead he's producing an evil dead remake without Bruce Campbell). The movie will never be shot but here's a fan that took the time to make an interesting animated cartoon about "what it could have been".

I read in Tribute that the Freddy VS. Jason VS. Ash

may still happen, but I also read about this remake that Campbell and Raimi are producing, which I think is stupid, they don't need a remake. and since they're making one, there won't be a "VS. Ash" movie because they'd have to use the guy from the remake or it wouldn't make any sense to have Campbell in one movie and a new guy in another...

Pull out Raimi and Campbell from the project and what is left cannot be called Evil Dead.

The Evil Dead remake makes baby Jesus cry.

It truly does.

Also for any of those who want to purchase Evil Dead on DVD, be careful there are several different versions. Because some are FAKE widescreen. The actual movie was filmed on 8mm or something... I can't remember what kind of film it was right now, but anyway, some versions preserve the original aspect ratio and film quality, which from a master still looks great, but the enhanced or redone version looks stretched and really isn't as good.

And I mean why wouldn't you want to see the movie the way it was meant to be seen!

Bruce Campbell is producing along with Raimi and others who made the original, but Bruce isn't starring.

It's still blasphemy, darn it.

not blasphemy as much as ridiculous.

Hmm... how about we compromise and say it's both?

i can't! Blasphemy would be Raimi selling the rights and having Joel Schumacher directing and writing the screenplay, while Campbell and none of the original production crew have anything to do with the new one.

I meant without him being the main actor, he's only going to be in it for a cameo and as a producers , how low can this thing get?

I rule that Brad has no power to rule! At least for deciding what will be accepted as words. He may still rule the pimpin' world.
