Very very old computer games

I am looking for some very very old computer games to download.
Specifically, old Sierra adventure games: Police Quest 1, Police Quest 2 (with manual to answer security questions), Conquests of the Longbow (a robin hood game)
If anyone can direct me to a good source I'd appreciate it. I'm setting up a computer at school for all these old games.
I've found a zip of PQ1 but I don't know if it works because I'm assuming there's no chance of running it on winXP. I've googled PQ2 for hours and found nothing.

Anything will run on WinXP.
Just right click on the icon for the program -> Properties -> Compatability -> Run this program in compatability mode for: -> choose the appropriate previous version of Windows that the program would have worked in.

The problem is PQ1 is from 1988 and the compatibility dealie only goes as far back as win 95.
I think it ran in DOS anyway and I completely forget how to use DOS.

Well, it will install through windows at all, it will have an icon that will automatically go through the DOS prompt anyways, and open the program (old games like Commander Keen and SAM have that).

k, there are 3 files i can open: _PQ is an MS-DOS batch file that is only open for a split second so I can't read the error message. MAKEPATH is an MS-DOS file that gives me the error message shown in the attatched pic, SIERRA doesn't say what kind of file it is, but it's obviously an MS-DOS file and gives me the same error as MAKEPATH.
It probably will work on an older computer, I just really want to play it

One stop shopping:
OldGames.nu
I recommend The Island of Dr. Brain
(oh, and note that you have a limited number of points with which to choose downloads on a given account so choose wisely)
