Not just for Arnold, but Jennifer Granholm too (Canadian born governor of Michigan)

Then again, it would give Jon Stewart enough material to last him the rest of his life...

How's this any different than Raegan? The only difference is Arnold was born in Austria...

I never said I liked Reagan.
But seriously. The guy can't even pronounce simple words!
Okay, neither can Bush.
But he's sure to embarrass the nation with one-liners like "I'll be bahk" and "You can run but you can't hide."
...
Shit.

It could be that he can't pronounce some words because english isn't his first language...
At least Arnold has an excuse, unlike Bush

Arnold would be better than Bush anyway.

Not going to happen. You have to be born in the US in order to become president and they aren't about to do away with that law.

And it would end badly if they did, anyway. 30 Years War, anyone? (I think that was the one) I realize the situation is different, but chances are people would be unhappy if a foreigner were leading them. It's all that nationalism stuff, I think.

You don't think so? I think there's a slim chance.

I don't see it happening in our lifetimes anyway.

I just don't. It's just my opinion. I don't think the majority of Americans would want to alter the constitution at this moment in time. Of course I could be wrong, but thats what I think.

I sort of agree with Rusty here... for one, I think there's still a fair amount of xenophobia (substitute with a slightly less strong word here) in the US. I think a lot of people would be scared of the idea of another country person fellow leading. Not even scared, just... not liking of the idea.

considering the lack of caring towards the patriot act which pretty well supercedes the consitution (or at least the important parts) I doubt American's would care.
