If so let me help you get rid of it!

It's been my experience that if you're relatively non internet savvy and don't have someone who knows what they're doing around you, chances are your computer is crawling with Spyware.

Symptoms of Spyware can but not necessarily include, really odd and random homepages, stupid tool bars on IE that you can't seem to get rid of, your computer running ridiculously slowly for no apparent reason.

I am here to help. But for me to help you, you have to do a wee bit of work first

First run Spybot. Don't have it? Get it here

And clean up yo stuff with that. If you have problems after that, then its time for the manual seach and destroy!

You'll need Hijack This!

Then you'll need to run that and get the log. Copy that and paste it here. I will then go through and make sure you don't have crap on your computer. If you do, I will help you remove it. If you aren't sure. Run it by me anyways.

This is a free service brought to you by Campbell Inc. :)

PS

There's a plethora of ways to contact me. Feel free if you have any issues.

If you aren't computer savvy, when you install Spybot I would suggest choosing NOT to also use Tea Timer or whatever it's called.

I'm gonna unsticky this since there hasn't been a reply for like a month, and Campbell doesn't really post anymore. If he or anyone wants to make it sticky again, feel free. :)

So I ran a sweep the other day and found 111 traces of some form of adware. Then I quarantined it and deleted it, but it said removed 71 traces. But when I run a sweep again no more traces show up. Are they all gone or what? I'm using spysweeper by the way.
