I just went to a Graham Colton concert (my third) and they put on a heck of a good show. Even more awesome was that I got an ego boost I ohh so desprately needed. The show was a few towns over, and on short notice it was just me and a buddy of mine that went. We got in there, and before the opening act went on a girl (a gorgeous girl) squeezes in beside me to take pictures. We make a little small talk, and it turns out she works for the radio station that sponsored the show.

We went out to the bar inbetween bands and chatted; turns out she goes to a university a few hours from where I go to school (which sucks). We chatted about music, college stuff, little bit of everything. I'm absolutely pathetic when it comes to picking up body language (sorry Reno, I flunked that class), but I was pretty sure she was flirting with me. I a miracle of chance, my gut was right, and by the end of the show we were making out, and I got her number. Plus, I ALMOST got backstage (she tried to sneak me in, but we got caught).

Plus, this girl is absolutely gorgeous; and SHE came on to ME (a massive rarity for a girl this attractive to pick me outta the blue). I've been going thru some heartache these last months or so (feelings of not being 'enough' more than anything else; not good-looking enough, funny enough, witty enough, etc.) So tonite just made me feel a lot better.

Maybe now I have escaped the funk I've been in for the last few months. And, on a funny note, when I was leaving I was humming the strut song from "Saturday Night Fever" in my head (at the end, where Travolta struts away). Plus, the show 'effin owned (great band).

I'm posting this at *looks at clock* 2:30 in the morning, and I just walked in the door. I'll probably look on here in the morning and be like "why the heck did I ramble this out on the CM?" Sorry for the stupid thread. Peace!
