I got a "The specified server could not be found." message. But apparently there are people who can get through...wtf does that mean when a site does that?

It could mean the server that provides it to you is down. Or the server at their end is having difficulty sending it to your yours.

I thought sites only had one server..? Or something..I don't know about this stuff..lol

Well as far as i know there are servers all over like if the site was made in england, it sends the information to the canadian server kind of thing. Cause that happened to me with a different message board it was down for like a week and all the north american people were like "where'd it go" and the creator was all like something screwed up with this and stuff. Unless i just dreamed all that

I think I read somewhere that most sites only have one server... some webmasters are rich and can afford more, tho.

oh haha I was just wondering because my dad wants to get bell expressvu internet, but i think it's too expensive...i dunno.
