SOOO, the sweetest thing has happened. The people at moveon.org have assembled a bunch of tours to go through battleground or republican states to try and persuade voters. AND they are all going to be in and around Michigan!! wooo.
Some of the concerts I plan on attending:
the Bruce Springsteen/R.E.M./Bright Eyes concert (yes, all in one)
the Pearl Jam/Death Cab For Cutie concert
the Dave Matthews one intrigues me, but i'm sure that will sell out in 5 seconds and i'm not that big of a fan so whatevs.

umm i dont think there would be much purpose to hold the concert in canada
tickets will probably be between $150-200 so I am not planning on figuring a way to go.

Seeing as many of these bands have a large fanbase of older teens to early 20's... right, good planning on their part.
I'd like to think that moveon.org is trying to target the rich kids who typically vote republican.

because it's a tour like this i highly doubt ticket prices will be that high.

I don't know. There's going to be a huge demand for tickets. They could charge whatever they want to because of the hype.

^^ They say some time within the next two weeks. He should go to the site and sign up for presale notification, although that doesn't guarantee he'll be able to go. They're making a big deal out of this- only some of the people who sign up will get tickets.
