there's a lot but right now i would love to "Love Song" by The Cure. Such a cool song, good lyrics and good melody, but it just seems a bit off key for me. Not to mention something really needs to be done with that cool little riff.

actually the original doesn't really have a "riff" because it's key boards, so i guess referr to 311's cover f it to see what i'm talking about

Here's some songs that I can already cover.

Guided By Voices - Echoes Myron
Built To Spill - Big Dipper
Kind Of Like Spitting - Born Beautiful
White Stripes - You're Pretty Good Looking
Alkaline Trio - Radio, Trouble Breathing, Every Thug Needs A Lady, Cooking Wine

I know I can cover more songs, but those are the ones I have down to that proverbial "T"

I'd like to cover "I've Got the Music In Me" by Kiki Dee.

You know, the woman who sang with Elton John on "Don't Go Breaking My Heart"?

It's the cheesiest "I fucking rock" song I know. Unfortunately I'd need a whole band to do it, because all I can do is sing and maybe do some keyboards. So I'm stuck with singing to it in my car.

I cover a lot of songs already, but the 2 songs I can only wish to ever cover is Stone Temple Pilots - Plush, and Goo Goo Dolls - Iris. Damn alternate tuning and guys with amazing voices.....

I would love to be able to cover "Keep The Bugs Off Your Glass And The Bears Off Your Ass" by The Bad Plus. I've fooled around with the bass part a little on guitar (I don't have a bass, so I just use the four low strings on my guitar) and it's really cool to play even though my "version" is a sad excuse for a really great song. It's not my favorite TBP song, but if I could cover any one of them, it would be that one.

My parents wouldn't let me go to the Rolling Rock Town Fair in Latrobe, PA to see them because of the massive amounts of beer and mudfling-ing. So tell me how it is. and maybe a picture or 2 :P

Another song I would like to cover would be Switchfoot - I dare you to move

OLP - Stealing Babies.
Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
They Might Be Giants - Ana Ng (which would be insanely difficult, even if I were just vocals)

I covered that song. It's kind of embarrassing, but I totally forget how to play it now  I remember that it wasn't that hard to learn though. There was one chord that wasn't like a standard root 5 or 6 major or minor. Maybe like a fifth or something (I suck at music theory, even at the most basic levels, so I'm sorry if that made no sense!) Anyway there is a part where Raine is singing just pitches (no actual lyrics) and I changed that into a little guitar solo.

The hardest part was figuring out how to end it. It was just me on guitar and vocals, so it was impossible to even attempt Elvin's drum outro. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. If you haven't heard it, it should be up on the hub. Just search "Troy Tyson" :)
