Well.. I wouldnt consider what i've been putting up, "sketches." Those are more of.. well.. they sure arent sketches :P

Well, I am going to be building a guitar this year and I need a template to work with. The guitar in question was custom built And I need a skecth of the guitar from various angles to help me along.

Just get one that looks like a BC Rich, so that each time you play, you look down at the geetar and want to vomit!

yes and no. The guitar in question exists BUT it was custom built. So its unique :nod:

And yes nikki, I am pretty sure its a custom job.

i think it's mostly a talent issue. just depends how well you can draw what you see.



i'm pretty bad with it.

Drawing isnt based on 'talent'. If you were to go up to most artists and tell them, they can draw what they draw based soley on their they'd probably get angry. Sure some people have more raw skills than others, but anyone can learn to draw. It comes down to those who are willing to work at it and develop their skills. I'm positive that anyone here could learn how to draw well. They just need to be taught correctly.

actually, i know a few people who have put a great deal of time into learning how to draw, but never actually improve. True, basic drawing skills can be learned, but I think natural talent plays a part in it; even if it is a small part. but that's just my 2 cents. peace.

Yeah, I sort of agree.
Understanding artistic concepts is important, and it is extreamly helpful if you are educated about how to create the art you want. But all the same, you can know all there is to know about art and still be completly useless at puting it into practice. Even after practicing and attempting to try different styles, some people just arn't talented in this area.
