They're not entirely broken up, everyone minus Stapp is in a new band called Alter Bridge.

Well, I feel like the defender of Creed on this board. But where exactly did he SAY he was better than Eddie? I don't remember that, but I do remember a huge fight about it.
Stapp has become a hypocrit though.

That wasn't Stapp. That was their bass player Brian Marshall. Tremonti and Stapp promptly booted him from the band.

I'd take Tremonti's word over Stapp's.
Either way, I was one of the few that thought that My Own Prison was a good album. But man, it went so downhill from there.

MOP is the best of the three definitely. And yes, that was Marshall who said that, who is in the new band. I think it was Stapp who wanted him gone or else why would Tremonti take him back?

Well nothing really, except that i'de have to agree with Matt Good in saying, the lead from Defaults voice is identical to that of Creeds, which coincidently sounds like other lead singers voices, ones which Matt Good mentioned, but i've forgotten.

I'm not a fan of either band, but the guy from Default sounds nothing like Stapp.

I personally LIKE Default....and think they're kick ass.
I'm not surprised that Creed broke up......it's old news in my mind. I knew another Creed album wouldn't happen.

Nikki will be devastated by this news. I want you all to know she is a HUGE Creed fan, so send your condolences to her. She'll need the support. And yeah, lead singer from Default sounds nothing like Stapp.
