as i live in the UK, ive only seen OLP once... they came over with Avril Lavigne. ive only been a fan for 2 years. they are not known in UK at all which really sucks as they're probably the most influential, lyrcially beautiful musicians in the rock genre ive ever come across...
i am travelling over the Atlantic tho this summer so hopefully catch some shows this summer, aswell as a 3 Doors Down show
the show i DID see took my breath away, they came out, Raine drinking from a bottle of water. in the dark as Talk Is Cheap started! i was stunned thru out the whole set apart from to sing along to the songs i knew at the time, i now know every lyric my head can fit in. Raine pointed me out during Innocent and i was given a hand written setlist from him, via the security guard... of course i framed it!!! waha!!

Seeing OLP in the states is fun. It is one step above England, but not much.

for shows in general in the Atlanta area.
I know the Cotten Club has alot of shows and I think it is called the Pepsi Arena down there. I have friends that live in the Atlanta area.

I already asked this somewhere else, but which show did you go to? I was probably there (I did Brussels, Birmingham, Manchester and all 3 Brixton shows cos I'm a bit crazy!)

i was at the Birmingham Academy show... Steves side, 3 rows back (near Tony and Sarah)
yeh im ive been on the Alliance for a while now, used to email eachother quite alot. ill go on and have a looksy now.
will have to make sure my emails changed on there coz its my old one

i wish i could see olp in a small venue. Maybe they'll come to Minot, North Dakota, that's only like 3 hours away.....wait no one goes to North Dakota

Just you all be thankful you even get to see them. I haven't been able to see them once due to the fact they NEVER tour here

Just checked olp.cc... they played 4 shows in Germany on the Avril tour, and 4 on their own in 2002 alone. I didn't go back any further.

I saw them in Hamburg in 2002
They did Rock am Ring back in the Clumsy days too.

yes rock am ring was back in 1997!!
But I didn´t hear about our lady peace until early 2003 when Happiness... was suggested to me on Amazon.de, so i just missed their tour here... i know about their tour in 2002, also from the Gravity album.. there´s a sticker saying the tour dates on the CD! And in 2003, when they were supporting Avril I missed them, because i wasn´t very often in the internet at that time... i only found out about it one month after Avril´s tour was over
!! I was so angry with myself!! And a friend of mine even is a huge Avril fan... and she didn´t ask anyone of us to come with her to the concert, because she hasn´t expected anyone of us to come with her... but IF ONLY I KNEW.... SHE ONLY HAD TO TELL THE SUPPOTING BAND´S NAME ONCE
!!!!

yeah i agree! Me too believes they´ll come to Germany again

they might go to Aus, the Tea Party do all the time, although i suppose The Tea Party is pretty big there from what i heard.

I seem to remember Raine saying something once about them having a Japanese or Australian tour semi planned at some point, but it fell through. I think they were going to support someone else.
I might be talking crap cos I'm exhausted again, but it I don't *think* I'm making it up.
