According to my friends blue is a flavor so purple might be too. I had made blue rice krispie treats and they said they tasted blue. They even had people try some with their eyes closed and then asked them what color they thought they were. Most said blue, others said blue or green.

I think pink should be a flavor.

And now I see why not being on this message board actually made me smarter.

what they probabably tasted was raspberry. A fruit commonly represented by blue. In today's society raspberry always has the show stolen from it by strawberry. Even though we all know Raspberry's are far superior to strawberries. Not to mention you can grow them easily in cold and warm climates.......god bless them, they grow like weeds........delicious fruit bearing weeds.

But rice krispie treats are just rice krispies, marshmellows, butter, and possibly food coloring... How could you get raspberries out of that?
