A little off topic here, but they toured with OLP so i figured I'd post it:

"We're going to do a really big push with Wal-Mart and some other retailers, and that's when we promised it," Arnold said.

I really don't see what the big deal is about it??? Perhaps its just me.......

Hey, the new 3DD cd might wind up beating the next OLP cd for you "non-believers".

huh? What do you mean by beating? Record Sales don't matter that much. Look at all the crap that sells now a days. If it has boobs or bling it'll sell. That sort of stuff doesn't really matter.

3DD just sounds so repetative. Their first song was good. Then everything since then has sounded exactally the same. Which is a little beyond annoying.

To anyone who has seen a 3DD show-

Did you guys notice that after every song, the lead singer refers to the audience as "my friends"? I saw them twice and I got really annoyed by it.

I wasn't talkin bout record sales....I was talkin bout the release date.

I doubt their album will be out earlier.

Seriously. The OLP albums recorded. There are probably advanced copies floating around too. They just can't decided when to put the CD out. I would honestly be surprised if it was released in 2005. That just seems really unnecessary.

I doubt there are advance copies out there right now.

And in the case of OLP, when an album is totally finished, they release it right away in Canada. People from Sony told me that they don't wait because they know it will sell.

My Dad is good friends with someone who works with the band. She does something with booking....I'm not really sure.

Anyways I'm sure I've mentioned it before but I never get to talk to her much since she is my Dads friend. But my Grandma died last week and she was at the funeral and we had a get together and stuff. So I asked point blank "Whens the album coming out?"
She said something like "Its funny that you mention that because I asked them that a few days ago and they still didn't have an answer" and then we were talking about some personal stuff that I'm sure she doesnt want me to share and then she said "Well sure, I'm sure there are some advanced copies floating around the office, I'll see if I can get you one with like a care package or something"

yup. So basically the management is waiting for the band to set a release date because they have to schedual it around their families and what not.

....3DD blows!

Sorry to hear about your grandma.

Thank you

....and I don't know exactally what she does. Seriously. I've asked and gotten weird answers. It has something to do with booking tours....someone told me the touring manager and I was like 'noo...thats kevin!' and yeah. I'm just confusing myself

I don't like it when people don't know, so they make up whatever sounds good. I know a band who tells me "We have an awesome manager!" when really the guy just booked a couple of shows for them- he wasn't under a contract or anything. He gave them some bad advice too.
