I didnt know exactly where to post this, but seeing as this is a current event its going here.

Anyone who knows about Andy Kaufman knows that he passed away 20 years ago. For those who dont, theres a movie out called Man on The Moon, starring Jim Carrey, about his life. Anyway apparently he is actually alive and was infact pulling off the greatest comic prank ever.

Man he is truelly insane

Nope.......not one bit.

Besides, wasn't this like 3 or 4 days ago, the actual day??? Yes, I believe I heard it on CNN actually.

He's dead......like the mosquito I just smacked with my sandal.

I believe its him. They did take his DNA after all. If its not than like Neil said, the guy is pulling quite the prank.

That would be freakin kick ASS if it was him.........I guess I just can't believe it.

But yeah, exactly, the dude pulls off an amazing act.........so either way somebody gets "kudos".

No kidding. If it was any other comedian i wouldnt believe it for a second, but Andy Kaufman is not your average comedian. I mean this is a guy who has gone up on stage during one of his shows and set up a bed and slept through the entire show. There has been many times he's fooled people and got the better of them only to let them in on the joke later. Still i have a hard time believing this whole thing but like I said, I wouldnt put it past the guy.

Andy Kaufman is exactly the kind of person to do this, though.

I believe it, though I'm not going to throw all my eggs in one basket yet. Could still be a farce.

^ Exactly. Anyone who's seen Man on the Moon or read about him knows he's insane enough to hide away for 20 years just pull the wool over peoples eyes.

I can't believe the people who said they hated "Man on the Moon". Jim Carrey did a fantastic job!

This would be nuts.......but my gut says to stick with a farce, for now.

Man on the Moon was genius.

It was the people who didn't know anything about Kauffman before seeing it that didn't like it. They just expected a typical Carey movie, but this was so much more.

it has always been rumoured that Andy Kaufman-who was best known for wresting woman and such as part of his act, never was dead.

That theory is up there with Elvis, and Jim Morrison. It was always a somewhat joke that actually all three were alive living on an island somewhere waiting to make a comeback, or revel they were still alive.

I heard this on the radio a few days ago. I will believe when I see it.

Many things claim to be true but aren't. how come we never saw anything more on the group who cloned the first human baby awhile back and such.

ANdy Kaufman. I always remember when he use to do SNL and sing
"here I am to save the day"

or his character on TAXI. Lafka.

Actually, that I believe wholly to be valid. I did a shitload of research into these guys long before they went public with their first clone (remember, a clone is just a human being with the exact same genetic structure as someone else, so the clone is a baby, not like sci-fi clones). Though their theories on life are rather obscure, it has given them motivation to seriously persue this outside of the bounds of today's science world. It's not that nobody else has been able to do it, just that by law they can't.
