I'm looking for a freeware program that can d/l streaming videos or at least something that can find the URL and then I can download it with my current download application. Is there such a thing? I downloaded a program called StreamDown a while back which did that, but it was only a 15 day trial then I think it was like $50 if you wanted to keep using it :(

anything that allows you to capture streamed videos is usually Shareware, not freeware, so I don't think you'll have an easy time finding one that expires.

However that doesn't mean there aren't ways around the trial period expiration!

Try a program called Streambox VCR, or ASFrecorder. Both of those do a real good job recording streams. If you have hub access and can actually get one of my sluts, I have the .exe's for both programs shared.

if it is windows media then you should use WM Recorder 9.1, it is a free trial that never ends
