SURE it isn't about you. . It was weird. The interview with Prince in ET ask about the cover. He said he hates people covering his songs. WRITE YOUR OWN MATERIAL was the quote. I don't think he knew that the FOOS have lot's of original stuff, and this was a song that got leaked. It would be liek if John Lennon was alive and heard OLP's version of IMAGINE and said write your own stuff.

I do agree with Prince on one hand though. There are so many covers coming out by new acts and it does drive you a bit crazy. They should do their own stuff, but they say IMITATION is a form of Flatery.

Yeah I am getting sick of covers all the time as well. I think they're fun at concerts and as leaks, but I think it gets irritating just releasing them on albums. Maybe this trend will stop. But, if I was an artist, and ANYONE wanted to cover anything I did, I would be flattered.
