Baghaahagabhabh    My god this was the worst finish to a game ever! First of all Montreal shouldn't have let it go into overtime. Boston got away with so many things that should have been penalties. And to finish it off with a give away that came from two players running into each other because one of them had been slashed on the wrist! What the hell ! ! :(

With like 20 some seconds left, Boston tied it up, it's not that hard to shoot it down the ice into an OPEN NET!

GEEZ...

Worst Episode Ever.

rivet did the semi-right thing
he got the puck away from theri zone but the forward support at centre ice wasnt as strong on the puck as it shouldve been
(i dont agree with healy at all)
you dont ice the puck regardless
kill the clock
if he missed the net on the shot and they went and scored off the very next faceoff what would healy have said? "rivet just cost the team the game by getting selfish and going for the net like that"
he needed to get the puck upto/across centre ice and then have a forward shoot at the net
and as for the goal, perrault should not have been on the ice that was fine, perraults a defensive liability
souray or rivet SHOULD have however been the ones covering knuble in front of the net and not markov .. and theo shouldve still had that

I don't totally agree, when they have the extra attacker it does make it that much tougher to bring the puck up the ice. However the same can be said if they ice it and have to have a face-off because MTL is still going to be a man down in with the puck in their end. If they were really smart they should have drawn Boston out to th boards on each side and positioned their own man behind the net, and held on to it behind their attack zone. I can't remember which team uses this technique, but it usually works...

I'd just be an ass and try and score on the empty net myself, but it's not that hard to hit a net from a long way away if you don't suck.... well that and if no one's trying to get the puck from you... that makes it a lot easier...
