I got to thinking a few minutes ago; how different would all of lives be if the CM had never come to be? If Al, Lando, and all the original crew had never had that spark of inspiration to put this thing together? I, personally, would currently be sitting at work BORED OUT OF MY SKULL without you guys to hang with.

Had I not discovered the CM, I wouldn't listen to the music I do now. I listen to so many bands now just because I heard about them through people on this board.

The CM was great.... it's actually pretty boring now. I think you just have to look at the nominees for best thread for this year and compare it to last years nominees. Sure it relieves boredom from time to time, but it's no where near as fun as it used to be.

I think we're still going strong, if you ask me. Look at most sites of this nature that've been around as long as the CM; and they've either fizzled out or changed into something different than what they were started for. The CM, my friends, is just as rockin' as it's ever been.
