Looking for a job!

Help me out guys! I need to get out of my deadend, shitty job as a McDick's crew worker. Does anyone know a place where I could work? I only have experience at McDonald's, so that might limit my choices a bit...

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you're moving to Alabama anytime soon, I saw a "Now Hiring" sign at the local Arbys.

I don't know... but I'm sure there are tons of jobs for people your age at the mall. :) Hey-- it's better than fast food, right?

if you have any call centres in your area those jobs are usually pretty sweet .. i work at an inbound centre for at&t wireless and just answer questions all day, customers call in to pay their bills etc .. most of those places pay well over minimun wage too.

I might apply at your place Joey... If I don't get a job at The Niagara Parks Commission I'll probably apply there. I just don't want to be stuck inside all summer.

yeah it does suck being indoors all summer .. i'd prefer an outside job too .. but i'm kind of limited since i don't drive .. otherwise i'd more than likely be applying in niagara falls too

it's a decent job though .. i make just under $12 an hour and have paid benefits, 2 weeks of paid vacation a year .. you get a raise every 4-6 months depending on how many hours you work .. plus they offer unlimited OT so you can work a ridiculous amount of hours and really bring home huge amounts of cash

I wish there was someplace round here like that :(

ya the only thing is I'd only stay there from may to Labour day... then I'd quit... so a lot of those things won't apply to me. Either way it's good money, but I think the Parks would just be a lot more fun. The job I applied for, I get to be an ambassador, meaning I get to talk to tour groups and stuff if they have any questions.

Whatever you do, DON'T work at Arby's. They are evil. Probably as evil as McDonald's.
Try a bookstore, that would be a fun job. Or maybe a CD shop or game shop or something cool like that.

Ewww.

Just think, I'm trying to find a job for three months out here. Simultaneously, I'm trying to find a job back home for the summer. Yeah......hire interviews become difficult at 3200 miles.

sigh

I'm training a horse for the summer though!! not for pay.......owell.
