With the tenth anniversary of Kurt's death upon us, he is making news headlines once again. Perhaps one of the most important pieces of news to spread is that of the murder investigation. In case you don't know, there is
no evidence
whatsoever that specifically points to suicide. There is, however, a substantial body of evidence that points to a murder. Private investigator Tom Grant (who was originally hired by Courtney Love to investigate Kurt's "disappearance") has been working on reopening the case for years. On his site, Grant mentions what he calls the "April Project." No specific details yet, but he claims that "This promises to be a very significant project." Check out
http://www.cobaincase.com/news.htm for more information. The "April Project" will be explained in more detail on April 3rd at the above URL.
SPREAD THE WORD!

Oh nice! I hope something comes of this. I'm tired of hearing he committed suicide on tv and stuff, when it's so obvious he didn't if you just read the facts. It'd be nice to see someone finally go to jail for his death. Kurt definitely deserves justice.

Nirvana was a good band, but fellas... Courtney (the number one suspect) did not kill him. I know alot of you who were alive and old enough to pay attention during the Nirvana era were saddened by Cobain's death, but you don't even need to connect the dots to see that he was depressed and hated being in the spotlight so much. Ofcourse this case is going to be huge, but i highly doubt any big evidence will come up to prove it was murder.

I don't really know what to think about it. I was only 9 when he died and I only remember it vaguely. Needless to say I think the whole story isn't being told by someone. I guess it'll take a while before we can know the truth.

I don't know. After reading all those facts, like Nikki said, it's kind of obvious it wasn't suicide. And just because he hated being in the sspotlight doesn't mean he was going to kill himself. It's pretty obvious he was going to quit the business just by reading the letter.

Did you even read the facts?!?

I will only say this. Sucide, Murder, Accident, whatever. The man is dead and nothing will bring him back to life. We may never know. For years it was rumoured he was murdered and Courtney was to blame. I also remember the whole Divorce Rumour thing on. I think in Kurt's case he was just a very sad soul who didn't want to live anymore. That March of 1994-he OD in Europe while on tour. Ended up in the Hospital. It was a miricle he survived that. Only to die a few weeks later. I always thought of Kurt sor tof the way I think of Jim Morrison. Two talented men who for what ever reason wanted out of the fame and thought Death would be the only way. Only problem is they are more famous now Dead then Alive. That is just my opinion.
The really sad thing I found about this was Francis Bean. He loved that kid, but not enough to keep him alive.

It's true that nothing will bring him back but if he was indeed murdered someone needs to be held responsible.

All of this stuff is nothing new. This was all around a few months after he died. I just wish they let him be. It is like Marilyn Monroe, Princess Di, Jim Morrison ETC.
All this evidence was around then, why now on the 10th anniversary is all I am saying. I am old enough to remember Kurt's Death and all the events leading up to it and after it. I just found the whole thing tragic and a big loss to the music world, but he will forever live on in his music, lyrics and through the fans.
BTW. I think COurtney has turned into one big mess. I loved Hole and alwasy enjoyed seeing them live. With her antics here last week, and the new CD, I think it is time She checked into something and cleaned herself up once and for all, if for nothing else but Frances Sake.

Perhaps you're right (although close friends of his say he wasn't suicidal at the time) but just because someone is suicidal doesn't mean that it's okay to murder them. I'm not saying 100% that he was murdered, but the evidence sure looks that way and I think the case at least deserves to be looked in to by authorities who haven't made their minds up even before seeing any evidence.

Here's hoping the re-opening of the investigation will turn something up.

i want to....do something to mark this anniversary. it just seems too important to just let float by. i have a feeling i'll just walk around school going 'do you know what day it is today' and it will be pointless.
the 20th is columbine's 5-year too.

I never had the chance to see Nirvana in concert.... even if it was I would be at the very back of the pavillon watching dave, kurt, and chris would look like ants.

I feel the worst for frances bean. Her mom is courtney love.
I feel kind of glad I was blissfully unaware of nirvana until long after cobain's death. I feel horrible for people that had to go through that. They're probably all still bitter about it.

yeah, same here. i was only 5 when he died and didnt even hear of the band until i was probably about 11 or so. I can't imagine waking up one morning and hearing on the radio that someone who had greatly influenced my life had taken his own.

i've lost interest in nirvana's music. 10 years of listening to the same songs over and over, got to me.
this sucks.

I've never really gotten into Nirvana. When I did listen to them, I found the music depressing
