when i got my new webcam, it came with a program that i thought was photoshop, but its really not. its actually some shit thing called photoshop album.

anyway, i downloaded the right photoshop a long time ago off kazaa, in a zipped file with the serial too. I tried to open it, but it wouldnt open. Does anyone know where to get an illegal copy (yes, im bad i know) or even a free trial version?

I read where people download the trial version of programs, like getting Photoshop from Adobe's website, and then go to hacking websites, like www.cracks.am, to make the program fully functional. But I have never tried anything like that so I'm not sure if it works. *shifty eyes*

I got mine from Kazaa. Took three days but I got it

I got mine from my cousin. He installs computers for businesses. You know they have to install a seperate copy on each computer?? If you want ten computers with photoshop you have to pay around 10,000 for the full install versions. Yeesh

The point is you can find it on Kazaa.

i thought you were alowed to use one copy on three computers, that is what they told my school when our one copy of adobe photoshop was on around 75 computers.

Mabye it depends on the amount of computers your buying it for at once. That and schools may be different than businesses.

Regardless its freaking expensive.

damn, looks like im gonna have to re-try kazaa, the old one didnt work. of you guys that have downloaded, how did you get the program to work.

and yeah, i tried www.cracks.am but for some reason none of them would work.

The fact that you have to take an entire CLASS to learn how to use Photoshop well shows what a horrible program it truly is.

Anyway, the reason I'm actually posting is cos I wanted to say I think there's a version of Photoshop specifically for schools, and they're allowed to install it on as many computers as needed. I know some programs are like that, anyway. Just a guess that Photoshop's the same way.

Yannic! Doing this is as simple as it was to get soundforge. Although i forget if you got it or not. Point is, download a free trial version, then download a "crack" off of cracks.am. When the free trial version asks you for a serial number to make it fully functional, use a serial number from the crack. DO NOT EVER download an .exe program off of kazaa. You will get viruses and muck up your computer again. Is that what you want?

I think photoshops newest "free trial" is different from the actual version, which i hear.. somehow makes any crack useless because you wouldnt be getting the full version anyway.

At least i think thats how it works.

haha, yeah it's kinda dumb, i mean i already use paint shop pro so it's really an easy class, i just wanted to see if it'd teach me something i didn't know, but it's pretty basic stuff.

yeah, because i had a crack from 7.0, and it didnt work. They dont ask you for the serial.

i just gave up on it, and downloaded the trial version...holy crap i cant figure out how to use it! either someone explains it to me, or nikki tells me what she uses, because AH.

i cant figure out how to make new layers in the same project. Or how to make a picture without just editing a picture you already have...

To create a new layer you click the "New Layer" icon in the bottom of your layers bar. It looks like a page being flipped over.

To create a new picture simply click file, and then new.

yeah, i know how to start a new picture, i just dont know how to actually do anything with it, actually make it look like anything. I dont know how to use the tools.


And i cant figure out which one is the new layer icon...wait, never mind. found it
