Baseball: A-Rod to the Yanks, post yer BITCH here..

Scott Van Pelt on ESPN said it best: "That shreak you just heard......it was Boston".
I now can say I partially hate baseball.......last nites kick ass NBA All-Star Game pushed the game into first place for me.
The Yankees, Steinbrenner, and anybody else associated with the "guys in suits" in NY have turned the game into a Monopoly. Without a shadow of a doubt. Who seriously has a better freakin lineup now than the Yanks?
Nobody....
Sox got pitching.....and that's if (strong IF) they stay healthy.

sometimes when watching baseball i find myself staring at the grass on the field, and watching it grow. It's much more exciting.

yankees have way too much money and they will win the world series unless they fall apart which is very possible.

You think its very possible??? It's going to take a LOT of falling apart. Their pitching will have to completely blow the season.
I think the Yankees will break most of the scoring records this year....without a doubt. Unless a few guys go down.
This lineup will be nuts:
1. Lofton
2. Jeter
3. A-Rod
4. Sheffield
5. Giambi
6. Williams (Bernie)
7. Matsui
8. Posada
9. Cairo
I can see it now.....All Star Game this year: Yankees vs. National League (with a couple of Red Sox pitchers as reserves)

Not to mention Tony Clark waiting on the bench.....
If anybodys gonna do yahoo baseball I'm sure either a buddy of mine, or myself, will be starting a league. Probably with weekly changes though, daily gets a bit nuts for baseball.
Off the Yankees:
Mauer looks like he's going to be ready to be the prime catcher for the Twins. Our 2001 phenom is finally ready to go. I think he's going to be stellar.
Maddux to the Cubs?? Anybody else think this will happen?

i really dont think the yanks will win it this year........ i cant back myself up after looking at their lineup, but they just won't pull it together.
i hope the cubs get maddux but i dont think it'll happen.
that being said, i'm fucking stoked for opening day! omg this was a short offseason.

Cairo is the only "gap" in the Yankees lineup, and he's not even a gap....he's young, so who knows.

Yeah, I jumped the shark on baseball after the strike. I haven't bothered to see a game since they fucked the Expos back in 94, and I'm damn proud.
